Destany Hall, a former Women’s Collegiate Golf Championship competitor, is a driving force behind impactful change within the golf community. Born and raised in Argyle, Texas, Hall discovered her talent for golf early in life, paving the way for her collegiate golfing career at Texas Southern University from 2017 to 2021.
Over the course of three years, Hall has accumulated a vast amount of experience in the sports industry, taking on multiple roles that have significantly shaped her career. These positions include an internship with the PGA of America’s Career Services department and serving as both an Assistant Golf Professional and Head High School Golf Coach.
Additionally, Hall embarked on a notable one-year fellowship with the Georgia PGA executing philanthropic activities, including the Georgia PGA Junior Tour, and creating the “Georgia PGA WORKS Mentorship Program,” a program that offers students from underrepresented backgrounds the opportunity to learn golf and develop meaningful relationships with business executives in the golf industry.
Today, Hall serves as the TGA Foundation and Outreach Manager at the Texas Golf Association, overseeing and fundraising diversity golf programs and lifestyle events, including Youth on Course and the Texas Adaptive Golf Championship.
